As a Business Operations Rotational Intern you will work within the department and contribute to key deliverables within each team. You will also get to participate in a wide variety of corporate events. They include:
- Lunch & Learns
- Round Table Conversations with Executives
- Social events with other interns
- 1:1 mentoring
- Networking Events with Senior Leaders
Interns at Basys will receive a well-rounded experience that demonstrates the inner workings of a payment processing company, while working alongside leaders throughout the organization to provide innovative solutions that help us help our community!
Internship Dates: May 27, 2025 - August 1, 2025
General Responsibilities:
- Operations Insight: Shadow Operations Managers, Directors, and VPs to understand daily workflows, decision-making processes, and team dynamics within Customer Experience and Implementation.
- Business Intelligence Projects: Utilize Power BI to analyze data and generate actionable insights that help improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue opportunities.
- Revenue Generation Initiatives: Work on creative strategies to generate revenue, reduce costs, and streamline processes in partnership with Customer Experience and Implementation teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify pain points within current workflows and propose practical solutions to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Leadership Exposure: Attend leadership meetings, contribute ideas, and gain exposure to strategic planning, resource management, and performance evaluation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand how different departments (e.g., sales, finance, IT) interact with Operations and impact customer experience.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Leadership, Management, Data Analytics, Business Management, Operations Management or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week for the duration of the internship
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Curiosity and a self-starter
