SUMMARY:
The Business Operations Manager is a pivotal leadership role tasked with driving excellence and continuous improvement within our Operations team. Collaborating closely with the Leadership Team, the Operations Manager will influence the company’s strategic direction by making data-driven decisions that optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Through effective management and leadership, the Operations Manager will increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue by ensuring that operational content is accurately and effectively adapted for US audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels with all stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals, inspiring a high performing team to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
• Manage budgets, optimize costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with company goals.
• Ensures strategies, change initiatives, and competitive information are communicated in clear and compelling ways.
• Address and resolve operational challenges promptly, making informed decisions to maintain seamless operations.
• Leads the enhancement of operational systems, processes and policies in support of management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning through coaching and team development.
• Implementation of online shop utilizing e-commerce platforms.
• Oversee the technical aspects of manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Liaises with other teams whose support is critical to ensure service, quality and other company wide goals are attained.
• Promotes a collaborative atmosphere to ensure effective inter-departmental communication.
• Development and design of key performance indicators, guidelines, work practices and standard operating procedures, service levels, RMA’s and other performance indicators and recommends initiatives to reduce expenses, improve service levels and the work environment.
• Promotes ethics and compliance; builds and sustains an environment where adherence to and reinforcement of the highest standards of integrity and ethics are the norm.
• Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports.
• Demonstrated experience in process simplification, automation, and elimination of redundancies.
• Proactive mindset, consistently bringing innovative ideas to the table.
• Business Acumen to understand the broader organizational context and align logistical operations with overall business objectives.
• Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, personnel, compensation, training and other Human Resources related matters.
• Performs other related duties as required.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MBA, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in in strategic leadership roles, preferably within the Automation or Distribution industry.
• Experience managing people, preferably 3+ years of experience.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and managing complex, global projects.
• Track record of successfully balancing competing priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment and sometimes under conditions of ambiguity.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving, and project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to process disparate information and synthesize quickly
• A deep understanding of digital transformation and its impact on business strategy.
• Ability to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
