**Position Overview:**
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business litigation, with a preference for those who have experience in construction law. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases and make a meaningful impact in a collaborative and supportive environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of business litigation, including case management, document review, and legal research.
- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and manage discovery, including the organization and indexing of documents, preparation of witness files, and management of e-discovery.
- Assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations to support litigation strategies.
- Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel to coordinate case-related activities.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling depositions, hearings, and meetings.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on business litigation.
- Experience in construction law is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software, including Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent education is preferred.
