POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of On Lok's information delivery systems. As the primary customer-facing member of the BI team, the incumbent will work closely with business users, including senior leadership, to identify business requirements and data needs. They will inform and support data infrastructure, modeling, and quality efforts in the ongoing development of enterprise-wide BI platform. They will design and implement the tools and processes needed to provide reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc / self-service BI in support of data-driven decision making.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build relationships with key business partners.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions, analyze requirements and data needs, and work with end-users in designing the ideal BI solution to any given business problem.
- Architect data visualization/self-service BI projects from end to end.
- Create and monitor KPIs and metrics for all of On Lok's business lines.
- Train and assist users to transform data into action-oriented information and to use that information.
- Support users in answering complex business questions via BI tools and ad-hoc SQL queries.
- Document new and existing models, solutions, and implementations.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts for operational BI tool issues; resolve them independently or with other team members.
- Contribute to and support data aggregation strategy for reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working directly with business users to build reports and dashboards, and solve business questions with data.
- Ability to lead projects from start to finish: identifying user requirements, developing prototype ETLs, aggregating data, crafting dashboards/reports, ensuring user adoption, and supporting ongoing improvement.
- Advanced data visualization skills; the ability to tell stories and make dashboards actionable.
- At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst/developer.
- At least 2 years of experience developing/reporting in enterprise BI platforms (Prefer Periscope or similar).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience writing complex queries.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in quantitative field (e.g., engineering, computer science, finance).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work with frequently-changing priorities.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly PACE and/or MAOs, a plus.

Your final compensation offer will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and licenses/certifications. The pay range is expressed as an hourly rate regardless of FLSA status. Exempt positions are paid salaried and are not subject to overtime.
