**Position Overview:** Conducive Consulting seeks a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by executing strategic sales initiatives targeting State and Local governments. As a Business Development Representative, you will be pivotal in prospecting, engaging, and nurturing relationships with potential clients and partner sales representatives.
**Key Responsibilities:** -
Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and email marketing campaigns, to generate leads and opportunities within the state and local government sectors. -
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through proactive outreach and effective communication. -
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute targeted lead-generation strategies and campaigns. -
Build and nurture relationships with partner sales representatives to drive mutual business growth and referral opportunities. -
Utilize CRM software to track activities, manage leads, and report on sales pipeline metrics. -
Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities. -
Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to prospects, showcasing Conducive Consulting's value proposition and service offerings. -
Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to expand professional network and promote brand awareness.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the consulting or government sector.
- Experience with cold calling, email marketing campaigns, and lead generation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, passionate about driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of State and Local government procurement processes and regulations is a plus. - Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
