Job Summary/Purpose
This position is a full-time position working for Loyal Source Government Services (LSGS) supporting the Department of Veterans Medical Disability Evaluation (MDE) program. As a member of the Provider Network Development Team, you will play a vital role in expanding and maintaining our network of healthcare providers. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and contracting with medical professionals to ensure our network meets the needs of our clients and members. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with providers.
Essential Functions and Duties
1.Identifying Potential Examiners:
- Research and identify medical professionals (e.g., physicians, specialists) who are interested in conducting Medical Disability Exams within their own practice.
- Utilize various platforms, databases, and networks to compile a list of potential examiners.
2. Outreach and Engagement:
- Establish initial contact with potential examiners through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.
- Present the benefits and opportunities of joining our Examiner Network, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
3. Relationship Building:
· Build and maintain positive relationships with interested examiners to encourage participation in our network.
· Follow up with potential examiners to ensure continuous engagement and address any follow-up questions.
· Negotiate rates with Examiner accounts within rate parameters
4. Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of all communication with potential examiners.
· Prepare regular reports on outreach activities, engagement levels, and conversion rates.
5. Collaboration:
· Work closely with the Examiner Network Team and other departments to ensure seamless onboarding of new examiners.
· Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for improving examiner recruitment strategies.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
· 2-3 years of previous years of experience in developing business to business relationships, building healthcare examiner networks, or several years of experience working in Business Development on the MDE Program.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with healthcare professionals.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management systems.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
