The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key client relationships. This individual will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, including estimating and project costs, and will lead efforts to secure contracts, develop strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company's long-term growth.

- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and potential clients within the multifamily and commercial construction sectors.
- Sales & Client Acquisition: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients, secure contracts, and drive business growth. Leverage industry contacts and connections to expand the company's network.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, industry stakeholders, and potential business partners. Act as the primary contact for key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Estimating & Cost Analysis: Collaborate with the estimating team to create accurate, competitive project bids. Possess sufficient knowledge to provide insights into project costs during client negotiations.
- Strategic Development: Play a key role in defining and executing the company's growth strategy by identifying new markets, partnerships, and opportunities to enhance our service offerings.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in business development, sales, or marketing within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of securing and managing successful construction projects.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and cost analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of the multifamily and commercial construction market, including industry trends and key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Established network of industry contacts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
- Experience with CRM and Construction software, ProCore is a plus!
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
