About the Job
Seeking a driven and passionate individual contributor to join the New Business Development team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the Target Account Strategy, as well as the direction and coordination of customer relationship management and the sales process.
The company is a mid-sized Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company specializing in Medical & Aerospace customers.
Qualifications:
- Talent for hunting new opportunities, independently generating leads, and prospecting new customers
- Experience discovering and qualifying potential customers against defined criteria
- Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, identify and solve customer challenges, and sell value-added solutions
- Proven experience in contract manufacturing, specifically in a new business development role
- Demonstrated success in selling contract manufacturing services
- Conduct market analysis, develop strategic plans, oversee implementation, and track progress toward organizational goals
- Ability to work independently with charisma and inspiration to engage customers
- Deep understanding of production and inventory management, material planning, capacity requirements, and master planning
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and proficiency in sales techniques and processes
- A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree preferred)
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
