Business Development Director
Effective People is a leading implementation partner for SAP SuccessFactors and related services. We are seeking and experienced, US based Business Development Director to drive new business development and support existing key accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive professional services sales strategy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers with client organizations to understand their business solutions and offer appropriate services
• Build, develop, and maintain a continuous sales pipeline
• Maintain timely status of all opportunities in CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
• Coordinate with business partners and internal team members to achieve success and close business
• Manage proposal and RFP processes with support of delivery and financial operations teams internally
• Manage and cultivate relationships with SAP and other key business partners
• Represent Effective People at industry functions and events
• Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
• Keep abreast of relevant SAP product roadmaps to identify future areas of growth
Qualifications
Required:
• 3+ years of experience selling software and professional services
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Basic knowledge of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors products and features
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to articulate solutions to customers and partners
• Ability to travel and support sales opportunities as needed
• US Citizenship
Preferred:
• Experience selling to Federal Government and Regulated Industry customers
· Experience with Federal Government contract vehicles and resellers
• Experience in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors consulting
· Basic knowledge of HCM business processes and best practices
