Business Development Coordinator
The Business Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the business development team by conducting market research, managing client outreach, and coordinating project timelines. This role is essential in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and helping the team achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the business development team in identifying and qualifying potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to support targeted business strategies and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with prospective client information and track outreach activities.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, presentations, and client calls for the business development team.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, including presentations, proposals, and other supporting documents.
- Help organize and manage follow-ups with clients after initial contact and throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and content that support business development initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the business development team, including managing calendars, project timelines, and budgets.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop materials that support business development initiatives, including case studies, award submissions, pitch decks and thought leadership content.
- Assist in the implementation of an integrated marketing for the agency on social media, public relations and branding efforts.
- Participate in new business development and collaborate with departments to create/revise client proposals.
- Other duties as assigned: Ready to take on ad hoc projects and tasks to support the success of the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the advertising or marketing industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and supporting team initiatives.
