Job Description | Join our team as a Business Development Manager, a pivotal role in spearheading revenue growth across the US by securing new customers. Reporting to the Executive VP, you'll focus on selling a range of products including Pressure Vessels, Reactors, and more, crafted from materials like stainless steel and nickel alloys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts, ensuring proposals in Salesforce align with revenue targets.
- Customer Relationship Development: Invest 75% of your time in cultivating new customer connections.
- Strategic Planning: Align sales strategies with company objectives, concentrating on sectors such as heat exchangers and refinery expansions.
- Maintaining Quality & Safety: Uphold the utmost standards of quality and safety across all operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to troubleshoot issues and maintain transparent communication.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture key accounts, overseeing sales forecasts and budgets.
- Monitor cash flow by managing payment terms and collections.
- Collaborate with risk management to establish favorable terms and conditions.
- Cultivate new client relationships while servicing existing accounts.
- Coordinate with the estimating department to generate proposals.
- Offer insights on proposal strategies and resource requirements.
- Oversee accounts receivable follow-ups.
- Expected travel: 30-40%
- Expected to attend occasional meetings at Cincinnati Oh plant.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in technical Pressure Vessel, Reactors, Jacketed Reactors, etc
- Industries: Chemical, Petro Chemical, Bio Industrial, Bio Renewable, Specialty Chemical. (Not Food and Bev)
- Experience selling for Highly engineered, EPC type companies, using Nickel Alloys and other hard metals (Not light Stainless)
- Proven track record in developing sales plans to acquire new customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong consultative selling skills.
- Previous experience in fabrication is advantageous.
- Heat exchangers and refinery expansions experience
