Business Analytics Specialist at US Tech Solutions

Duration: 6 months contract

Summary:
The main function is to leverage analytical tools to provide business and technical support for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze company functions, processes, and activities to improve business applications for the most effective use of resources.
• Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
• Analyze and process data, building and maintaining models and report templates to develop data-driven solutions.
• Establish and document business processes.
• Assist others on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, human resources or relevant field required.
• 0-2 years related experience required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Data analysis, requirement gathering, requirement writing, production validation and controls support and testing

Must Have Technical Skills:

• Experience with Excel, Jira, Agile Methodology

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• General business analysis knowledge, retail lending technology experience, modern tech concept knowledge (ex: understanding of how APIs work, understanding how data migration works, understanding how streaming events)
