Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is hiring a Business Analyst for our government health project team in San Antonio, TX. The hired candidate will assist in developing and implementing acquisition and project management processes, methodologies, and tools for our Enterprise Services Program Management organization.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skills, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, interact with a diverse group of partners, and strengthen CGS' abilities to serve our clients.
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will:
Apply understanding of military health to support acquisition and project management requirements
Facilitate coordinated product team (CPT) sessions to gather needs/requirements, understand gaps/issues, and develop consensus solutions
Build acquisition documents such as Statements of Work and Needs Assessments
Analyze vendor performance and existing contract documents to formulate recommendations for streamlining
Conduct market research for technology topics
Model business processes and system interactions, document business issues, and design optimized processes
Perform analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements
Develop structured analysis of alternatives to support effective decision-making
Design performance measures to support business goals
Manage user and system requirements using agile management tools
Craft and perform user adoption activities, including documentation, training, and evaluation
Lead projects and ensure they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget
Perform budget forecasting and scenario analysis
Take notes and write meeting summaries
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
5-years of related experience
Passion and experience for the military health mission
Experience working in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) or predecessor organization
Familiarity with federal acquisition processes
Experience leading projects with contractual, financial, and technology achievements
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize, track, and lead multiple tasks
Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and accurately
Strong oral communication skills to present to clients and partners
Demonstrated ability to develop presentations and briefings
Demonstrated structured analysis and critical thinking capability
Technology and data savvy
Fast learner
Takes initiative
Collaborative great teammate
Desired Qualifications:
PMP certification
CSM certification
8-10 years of related experience

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 85k – 120K.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
