Video Strategic Planning Analyst
Location: Culver City, CA

Hybrid role (Tues, Wed, Thurs in office)
Reporting to: Video Strategic Planning Lead
Job Description:
The Video Strategic Planning Analyst (IC3) supports the Global Strategic Planning lead on strategy, business initiatives, market intelligence and reporting for a Video subscription business.
The breadth of this role is varied, including the opportunity to work with a global, cross functional team, and requires the ability to advance multiple tasks whilst working to tight deadlines across time zones.
You will be a vital member of the team, focused on impactful and high visibility work.
Responsibilities:
Growth Initiatives - support on research, subscription modelling, business case development and presentation of Video growth initiatives.
Business Performance - support on tracking and monitoring of key retention metrics, and leading indicators, maintaining dialogue with Business leads, Data and analytics and Finance to deliver action-oriented insights and inputs into forecasting cycles.
Exec Communications - update Keynotes and additional resources for business reviews.
Market intelligence- work with other analysts on the Strat Planning team to keep track of relevant developments in the SVOD market.
Ad-hoc support as for Senior Director, Video as necessary.
Core Competencies:
Strong analytical skills with a natural aptitude to translate data into actionable insights.
Subscription business experience, with a deep understanding of funnel metrics and pricing/tiering, preferably within Video SVoD.
Intermediate - Advanced Keynote/ PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
Strong communication skills, with ability to distill complex information concisely.
Ability to work in a high pressured, matrix organization
Ability to handle ambiguity, and work independently whilst remaining flexible to shift priorities.
Natural curiosity for seeking out new business opportunities, and appetite for continuous improvement.
A love for series, movies and other types of video content, with a broad understanding of the medium, outside of personal taste.
Education
Minimum bachelor's degree education preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science
5+ years' experience in Strategy, Finance, Data and Analytics- focused roles
