About the Job
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Business Analyst Healthcare, to work on a Remote basis.
As a Business Analyst in the healthcare sector, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in day-to-day business discussions with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and requirements. Capturing and documenting these requirements, and translating them into user stories for development.
- Collaborating with internal development teams on new business initiatives, gathering and translating requirements, and providing proactive messaging on risk assessment and potential solutions.
- Supporting QA/UAT processes, including creating and reviewing business test cases, and assisting users in testing. Ensuring clear expectations for project delivery are set with stakeholders.
- Capturing feedback and recontracting with stakeholders as required.
- Assisting in project management updates with local and offshore development teams. Participating in daily project updates and coordination activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 full cycle implementation experience (SDLC) in BI/Analytics based projects in the Biopharma, Life Science, or Healthcare sector. Knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements based on the audience. Experience collaborating with offshore and onsite teams on product and business use cases.
- Experience converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Ability to quantify resource requirements, measure proposed project benefits, and manage risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills effectively.
- Good technical understanding, including Architecture, Data Analytics, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and self-starter attitude.
- Added advantage if experienced in Finance/Accounting or HRIS areas within healthcare.
- Proficiency in SQL, some BI tools, and the ability to learn client proprietary technology. Familiarity with transaction processing applications such as Oracle/SAP.
