JOB SUMMARY
This position provides technology service and support for the core banking platform to elevate the reliability, stability, security and performance of software development in leveraging efficiencies for Credit Union personnel through use of computing technologies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Utilize service desk system to resolve issues reported and route tickets appropriately.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining job scheduling systems. This includes updating the software as well as creating jobs, schedules, and maintaining calendars.
- Trouble shooting and resolving job scheduling system job failures.
- Determine and resolve end-user problems on the core systems in a timely manner.
- Responsible for moving new programs and jobs to the live core platform.
- Work with internal developers on initial testing and rollout of custom programming requests.
- Work with departments and project teams on core product development features.
- Assist with projects that integrate with core systems to ensure applications work properly.
- Assist with updates, releases, and patches of applications.
- Assist with annual core platform failover testing.
- Perform testing, locate potential problems and solve in an efficient manner.
- Provide accurate and quality analysis of new and existing applications.
- Responsible for identifying and addressing current and future business needs.
- Participate in IT on-call and holiday coverage rotation as well as being on-call for job scheduling issues.
- Perform IT on-call duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a significant period of time and perform functions that require manual dexterity. The employee must occasionally reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend, and carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. A normal range of hearing, vision, and speech are required to effectively work with co-employees and members.

This position also requires maintaining confidentiality with regard to non-public information about our members and the Credit Union.
