Business Analyst 5 – Position Description
Seeking Software Business Analyst (BA) to help maintain a web application supporting the Michigan Department of Education's (MDE), Office of Educator Excellence (OEE) Systems.
Requisition: Business Analyst
Description:
We would like a full-time experienced BA on a project supporting OEE. The BA resource would assist with Requirement Analysis, Functional Design and Testing documentation for all systems, Processes, Data flows, and Services impacted by the project. The resource should have an high level experience in collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, creating the Functional requirements, End to end testing, Bug tracking, and Coordination/Communication skills with state agency stakeholders, and DTMB team members. Relevant IT system integration experience is needed.
The person in this role will work closely with business users and the development teams to analyze business requirements, document requirements, and provide feedback on the actual system implementation of the business logic. This position will setup the Agile sprint processes for this project and run the Agile sprint meetings. This position supports the development team on the project by providing requirements clarification, removing roadblocks in the development process.
Hybrid work schedule:
Candidate will be in office 2 days a week and work remotely 3 days a week. *This is subject to change as directed by the Director of DTMB.
Target Start Date: TBD; but targeted for early February.
