School Bus Driver - Safe & Reliable Transportation for Our Students

Location: Lexington, North Carolina
License Required: Valid NC Class A or B CDL with School Bus Certification

Are you passionate about student safety and community service? Join our team as a School Bus Driver and help ensure students travel safely to and from school, gaining the full advantage of our educational programs. These are direct hire positions. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Drive a school bus on assigned routes while obeying all traffic laws, school bus regulations, and safety standards.
• Pre- & Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each route, reporting any mechanical issues.
• Maintain Student Discipline: Establish and enforce a clear discipline plan in line with school policies, ensuring a safe and respectful bus environment.
• Emergency Preparedness: Lead evacuations and emergency procedures, prioritizing the safety of students in critical situations.
• Accurate Reporting: Complete daily timecards and reports, including any incidents or accidents during routes.
• Professional Relationships: Maintain positive and courteous communication with parents, guardians, and school staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred, with experience driving large vehicles and working with children.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid North Carolina Class A or B CDL with school bus certification.
• Skills: Strong attention to safety, good communication, and problem-solving skills.
