About the Job
A startup health and wellness brand (with big company backing) is seeking an experienced Brand Manager that will own the Brand/Marketing strategy and execution. This person will be the number 4 employee for this brand and will need to wear a lot of hats.
This individual will collaborate closely with the CEO and Director of E-commerce to build the brand's presence in the wellness space. The ideal candidate will have experience with established brands and be eager to launch and grow a brand from the ground up within a scrappy, energetic team.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that encompasses positioning, identity, and messaging to resonate with consumers.
- Brand Book Creation: Design and produce a cohesive brand book that outlines brand values, mission, tone of voice, consumer persona, and visual guidelines.
- Marketing Strategy Execution: Work alongside the CEO and Director of Ecommerce to execute innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the collaboration with our social agency to create engaging content and campaigns that reflect brand values and drive engagement.
- Brand Activations: Plan and execute pre-launch and post-launch brand activations that capture consumer interest and contribute to brand visibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product development, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify target consumer segments, trends, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality marketing materials and content that align with the brand’s vision and elevate brand aesthetic, including web content, blogs, and emails.
- Holistic Brand Identity Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and design across all marketing channels, including digital, print, and in-person experiences.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand initiatives and campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with consumers and wellness communities, fostering brand loyalty and advocacy.
- Event Planning: Organize and execute brand events and partnerships that showcase the products and create memorable consumer experiences.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum impact.
- Feedback Loop Creation: Establish mechanisms for gathering consumer feedback to refine brand strategy and product offerings based on insights.
- Proactive Project Management: Take initiative on projects and campaigns, demonstrating leadership and drive in executing the brand vision.
Quals:
- 3+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in the wellness or consumer goods space.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, digital marketing, and consumer engagement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passion for wellness and holistic health.
The salary could be 100-130k or more depending on experience. Bonus/benefits/perks available.
