It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our 10-week internship (May 27th – August 1st) is designed for students looking to make full use of their talents through a hands-on work experience. During your internship, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact on our organization. This paid internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to unleash their creativity, work in an amazing hybrid-friendly office in South End Charlotte, and learn from the Most Loved Sweet Treat Brand. You’ll also get the chance to contribute to a sweet group project where you’ll create your very own limited time offer collection!
The Brand Management, Retail Marketing Intern will be responsible for partnering with the brand team lead, to execute the retail brand strategy. This individual will support the development & execution of multiple critical projects across the annual national marketing calendar, inclusive of brand campaigns, product promotions, and offer plans. By partnering with cross-functional teams & external agencies, this individual will support the consistent delivery of messaging across all channels and best-in-class go-to-market process and execution.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Support the daily management of multiple projects from the outlining project requirements through completion and implementation.
- Support the development of campaign creative, including creative brief writing and creative content across all marketing channels
- Partner internally across brand, design, and digital consumer experience teams to ensure an integrated communications plan across all channels
- Monitor and report against in-market performance, developing key recommendations to marketing leadership.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships and communication within marketing team & across consumer insights, analytics, operations, finance, procurement, legal, and agency teams to successfully bring projects to life.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related area
- Passion for brand management and sweet treat categories
- Demonstrated experience in successful project management
- Demonstrated experience writing creative briefs that inspire breakthrough creative
- Skill in managing the marketing campaign process, inclusive of leading the creative review process and providing creative feedback with advertising and/or PR agency partners
- Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders – agency, internal creative, media strategy, finance, legal, operations, and innovation – to reach strategic goals.
- Ability to interface comfortably and effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, work under tight timelines, and react quickly to take advantage of real-time opportunities.
- Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment.
