Summary/Objective
The Branch Manager will direct all work performed in the branches and supervise all areas of sales and operations including Outside Sales, Customer Service, Service Department, and Warehouse. You will manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction through proper branch operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity to support sales and service level target achievements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Direct operations management including sales, distribution operations, customer service, service, and warehouse.
- Manage all associated Sales personnel designed to meet and/or exceed budgetary goals.
- Manage and monitor supplier performance and metrics.
- Assist with input in developing forecasts and business plans.
- Meet goals and metrics for the area of responsibility for this position.
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.
- Bring out the best of branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation.
- Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
- Share knowledge with corporate on effective practices, competitive intelligence, and other business opportunities to consider.
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly. Redirect for corporate support as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
