Brake Control Engineer - Zobility

About the Job
Position Description:
- Lead the implementation, verification and calibration of brake control features and functions to meet vehicle program milestones.
- Features and functions include driver assistance features, offroad functions, developed 'in-house' functions, and regenerative braking.
- Ensure development vehicles are fully functional and updated to latest software levels.
- Coordinate development, troubleshooting, and software updating activities between engineering teams (powertrain, ADAS, brake and steering controls, brake control suppliers).
- Manage and migrate feature and functional requirements to new management tools.
Skills Required:
- Experience with engineering tools & processes.
- Vehicle data collection and analysis (Matlab, Vector CAN tools, etc.)
- Unrestricted and Valid Driver's License required.
Skills Preferred:
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated self-starter, ability to manage/prioritize multiple assignments.
Experience Required:
- Automotive component or subsystem product development tools and processes.
- Experience applying engineering specifications, design validation, failure mode analysis, and project management using MS suite.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree.
