Bookkeeping Associate - Tolleson Wealth Management

About the Job
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage individual and/or entity books utilizing QuickBooks
- Sync QuickBooks files with bank websites, credit card sites, Bill.com, etc.
- Reconcile bank statements for custody accounts on QuickBooks utilizing reconciliation module
- Assist in preparation of individual and/or entity financial statements in Tolleson branding on a recurring basis, including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements, cash flow and general ledger reports, and other customized reports as needed
- Oversee bill payment/accounts payable and expense reporting utilizing Bill.com
- Read, analyze, and record activity on investments utilizing performance reports, i.e. Pershing, Black Diamond, other outside custodians, etc.
- Partner with outside CPAs by providing data for tax return preparation
- Record journal entries, including year-end adjustments
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by management
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Two or more years of recent bookkeeping experience with a strong knowledge of accounting
- Minimum of two years experience working in a professional services firm or similar environment and preferably at least one year working at a public accounting firm or family office
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus but not required\
- One to two years of experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software utilized for bookkeeping
- Experience working with Bill.com or a similar third-party bill payment platform
- Experience using Microsoft applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe PDF and the ability to quickly learn new technology
- Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment
