We are on the lookout for a seasoned Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. This is a ideal for someone who has a knack for numbers, is detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a proven track record of managing accounts payable and receivable, tax preparation, bank reconciliation, and using QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions). This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of our financial systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Manage tax preparation and filing processes to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
5. Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop to manage and track all financial transactions.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
7. Assist with the creation and management of budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Provide financial insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
9. Ensure confidentiality and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role in the finance industry.
2. Proficiency in using QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions) is a must.
3. Extensive experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax preparation, and bank reconciliation.
4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
5. Proven experience in public accounting.
6. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
7. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
