Our client, an IT Consulting, and IT Services firm, is seeking a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, will be detail orientated and a team player. The Bookkeeper will be part of a three-person team and will report to the accounting manager. This role is full-time, regular status role with benefits and is 100% remote.

The salary range is based on paying competitively for the size and industry. Starting compensation range: $50-$60K

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, etc.).
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in managing the company's cash flow.
- Track and process employee expenses and reimbursements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with payroll processing and compliance.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and employees to resolve financial issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with audits and regulatory filings as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working as a bookkeeper, associate’s degree in accounting is a plus.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, pivot tables is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience with QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Able to work independently and self-motivate with a flexible can-do attitude.
