Join a dynamic team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper at a well-established organization in Placerville. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the team with essential accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports for internal review and external compliance.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and support audits.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and address financial inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting (preferred but not required).
Schedule:
- Part-time: 32 hours each week
- Flexible schedule available to accommodate work-life balance.
