Bookkeeper with Restaurant Industry Experience
Position Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Encino
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple restaurant locations.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, bill payments, and customer invoices.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
- Generate and analyze financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with management to ensure budgets are adhered to and identify opportunities for cost control.
- Utilize Restaurant365 and/or Toast software for accounting, reporting, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with tax filings, sales tax reporting, and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in Restaurant365, Toast, or similar restaurant-specific software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost control strategies.
- Experience with multi-location financial management.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and systems integration.
