Job Details
Stem Cell / Bone Marrow Transplant Account Manager:
- Reports to the Regional Director of Physician Relations
- Account Manager will have an assigned territory and expected to be in field 4 days per week with a planning day. There will be overnight travel 2-3 days a month.
- You will work remotely when not on the road.
- The ideal candidate will have Oncology Sales experience with a documented proven track record of success.

Goals
- Scheduled/Completed meeting with everyone within the Oncology Practice in GA within 90 days
- Host at least 2 Clinical Dinner Programs or Oncology meetings within territory within the first 6 months
- Have assisted with identifying 10+ CAR-T patients for our various Cell Therapy programs within 1 year.
Job Description
- The Senior Cell Therapy Account Manager is a clinical business leader who represents the organization in the medical community, managing and nurturing relationships with targeted medical professionals in designated markets with the goal of securing both episodic and comprehensive qualified patient referrals to the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Working within a territory that spans Georgia and Alabama.
- Developing, implementing, and tracking a strategy to deliver patient referral business from key decision-makers in cell therapy treatments, such as specialists in cell therapy, lymphoma, leukemia, and hematology, along with supporting staff.
- Targeting specific cancer centers and surrounding physicians to ensure the effective introduction of the organization's clinical distinctions in Atlanta.
- Implementing strategy and process flow, relationship management, and operational best practices.
- Conducting effective office visits, presentations, attending conferences, and facilitating hospital tours to educate referring and new physician partners on services offered.
- Executing all promotional activity in assigned accounts and playing a key role in executing Physician Relations and hospital strategy.
- Working strategically with cross-functional leadership, analyzing key business drivers, and ensuring the implementation of business plans.
- Responsible for strategic messaging and positioning of the organization's Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy program to prospective referral groups.
- Identifying and reporting unmet needs and operational enhancement opportunities from the marketplace.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a BS/BA in Medical Sales, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in sales, marketing, or business development with medical professionals. A sales background is required.
- Experience with promoting oncology or specialty disease states or service lines.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven track record of obtaining new business and successful relationship building.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry.
- Documented sales success and goal achievement.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills and team-building capability.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract pertinent information from data sources.
