Bioprocess Training Manager - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Health and Sciences is seeking a Bioprocess Training Manager to join a global non-profit organization specializing in life sciences training and development in the Gaithersburg, MD area.

Responsibilities of the Bioprocess Training Manager:

·        Develop and present customized training materials for clients through a combination of content and lectures in the field of biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations

·        Update and maintain documentation for the facility such as SOPs, batch records, proposals and any technical reports

·        Measure training effectiveness using various tools

·        Ensure safe operation of laboratory equipment and working with facilities team to troubleshoot any issues

Qualifications of the Bioprocess Training Manager:

·        5+ years of experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment (downstream, upstream, fill/finish, support operations)

·        Strong knowledge in biomanufacturing operations, cell and gene therapies, microbiology, QC, and manufacturing equipment

·        GMP experience required

·        Prior experience creating training curriculum in LMS

·        Bachelor’s degree in science related field

Compensation of the Bioprocess Training Manager:

·      Salary: Between $90,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
