Billing Specialist - Beacon Mobility

Essential Functions: Provide service to customer accounts within Finance and Billing and supporting Operations.

• Collecting and recording billing data.

• Working with and supporting the operations team to collect daily billing information.

• Meet established performance goals and deadlines in ways that comply with client service level agreements.

• Prepare, verify, and process invoices and coding payment documents for assigned clients.

• Addressing any billing problems or billing disputes.

• Analyzing and generating reports on billing statistics.

• Communicating with clients to help them resolve problems and find answers to questions.

• Creating invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to clients.

• Monitoring payments and accounts to look for payment discrepancies.

• Prepare invoice reports at client request.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of progressive accounting/finance experience.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Advanced degree is a bonus.

• Knowledge and experience of transportation operations preferred.
