An amazing new opportunity has come up in our Finance Department! We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join us full-time in Danvers, MA!

Job Summary: The Billing Specialist inputs provider charges, creates CMS-1500/UB-04, 837 files, creates invoices and checks insurance eligibility. They will also respond to invoice queries, manage billing corrections and provider notes in client files, and post and collect payments.

Major Responsibilities:

• Uploads all billing utilizing several different insurance websites.

• Tracks certain billing information on Excel spreadsheets as needed.

• Responds to payer correspondence, claims follow up, submits appeal/replacement claims for denied claims, initiates contacts and negotiate appropriate resolution (internal and external) to ensure timely and maximum payment.

• Download payer remittance advice.

• Applies insurance payments both manually and electronically.

Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree or equivalent business experience in medical billing, insurance carrier or related medical administration
• Knowledge of third-party billing rules and regulations
• Strong computer and organization skills

Job Type: Full Time, In Office
Pay: $26.50/hr
