A global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking a 3E Support Lead to join their dynamic team in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
As a 3E Support Lead at firm, you will provide technology support to staff regarding current and future software applications as it relates to the Elite 3E application, via telephone, email, and remote support. You will be responsible for providing 3E support by responding to user questions and issues. The Lead may also be asked to work independently on projects and tasks while accomplishing these and other critical functions:
- Providing end user support for the financial departments of the firm for the 3E and Electronic Billing Hub (eBH) financial and billing systems, respectively
- Acting as a senior resource to the firm on various financial technology questions for staff and other users; responding to user questions and issues in a timely manner and assisting with solutions
- Working with the 3E and eBH vendor in order to resolve complex issues
- Testing software upgrades and responsible for user security and assisting with system setups
- Assisting the Supervisor of Financial Systems Support with special projects dealing with continuing education/workshops and user support issues
- Working with the Finance department and supporting various accounting functions
- Tracing transactions through previous accounting/billing actions to determine the source of discrepancy and following appropriate procedure to correct it
- Researching billing data to verify information on financial reports
- Computing and/or analyzing complex reports and schedules; these may include but are not limited to, payment/billing schedules, AP reports, GL reports, Business Objects or client account analysis
- Daily review and resolution of 3E system generated transactional GL Posting Results errors
- Reviewing, researching to troubleshoot and resolving 3E system sub-ledger data integrity issues; testing resolutions and making recommendations to accounting for corrections in Production
- Writing and running SQL’s for 3E balancing schedules, reviewing and resolving balancing variances, including running SQL’s for tax related balancing schedules and troubleshooting variances.
- Assisting the supervisor with developing junior team members
- Working independently with the DBA group to schedule and monitor tasks for evening or weekend maintenance windows
- Working with the Financial Development team to help analyze and assist with developing 3E enhancement requests
- Acting as a liaison to the accounting group to communicate deadlines and deliverables
Qualifications:
- Display the ability to quickly analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources
- Apply critical and creative thinking in order to draw conclusions or develop solutions to complex problems
- Have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing a demanding workload
- Possess the ability to work independently without supervision and be able to prioritize responsibilities
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or Business
- A minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible relevant experience, during which the knowledge, skills and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated
- 3E experience is required
- Knowledge of accounting concepts, procedures, and advanced experience in SQL Server, including T-SQL programming.
- Experience with administration of the 3E system
