Bilingual Customer Service Representative at TEKsystems

Summary: An Account Receivable Representative is responsible supporting the AR/Billing department.

Job Responsibilities: Answer inbound patient inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts. Approximately 25-40 calls inbound calls per day while maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards the customer/client at all times.

Set up patient payment plans and work collection accounts -outbound calls to the patients.

Process/post customer payments. Research and update patient's addresses from return mail and various other address reports. Heavy repetitive work. Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information.

Processing adjustments in the billing system.

Use of computer systems, software, 10 key calculator, Effective communication, Customer service skills for interacting with patients regarding medical claims and payments, including communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds

Able to work in a team environment, problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies, collections Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures Knowledge of medical terminology likely to be encountered in medical claims.
