Our client, a healthcare technology company located in Moorestown, NJ, is looking to hire a Benefits Analyst on a long-term contract though the end of the year to manage their employee benefits and assist with the transition of benefits due to a recent merger.

- Work collaboratively with members of the People Team and across the company to enhance the employee experience. Collaborate across all functional areas of the Total Rewards team: compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS.
- Maintain effective and compassionate communication with employees regarding benefit programs and company/state/federal policies related to these programs. Respond to general benefit inquiries made by team members.
- Administer leaves of absence (LOAs), worker's compensation (WC), and other disability benefit programs in coordination with third-party administrators and according to state leave guidelines.
- Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle monthly enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, life insurance claims, and compliance testing.
- Prepare announcement materials, plan summary documents, and other media for communicating to employees.
- Audit benefits-related data. Ensure accuracy of benefits enrollment and premium deductions. Process payroll adjustments and invoices when needed.
- Prepare benefit-related reports and spreadsheets as requested for internal HR needs.
- System Migration - Collaborates with HR Business Partners and leadership as appropriate to align jobs with organizational job architecture guidelines.
- Data Analysis and Reporting - Supports special projects, as needed, including creating reports, analyzing data, and providing summary information and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Professional certification preferred (i.e., CEBs, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
- 4+ years of experience in benefits administration and HRIS systems required. Ceridian Dayforce and/or Workday preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, research methods and data analysis techniques.
- Expert-level computer skills: HR Information System (i.e., Ceridian Dayforce, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced technical proficiencies include but are not limited to: report writing and Excel using quantitative analysis, charting, pivot tables, formulas/algorithms, and trend analysis.
