We are currently seeking passionate, dedicated, and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families dealing with behavioral health issues. Our RBTs play a crucial role in our organization, providing direct behavioral health services to children under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a variety of settings – including homes, schools, and community environments – across the state. There are multiple opportunities available, with the potential for growth and advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help children improve their behaviors and achieve their goals.
2. Collect and record data on patients' progress, using precise and consistent methods to ensure the validity and reliability of results.
3. Communicate regularly with BCBAs, parents, and other team members about patients' progress, challenges, and any changes observed in their behaviors or circumstances.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards at all times.
5. Provide direct care to patients, including assisting with daily living activities and teaching new skills as required.
6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest best practices in the field of behavior health.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
1. A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician or similar role in the medical industry, preferably in a pediatric setting.
2. A current RBT credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or equivalent certification.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and team members.
4. Strong observational and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately record and interpret behavioral data.
5. A genuine passion for helping children and families, with a patient and compassionate approach to care.
6. The ability to travel to various locations across the state to provide services.
7. A current CPR and First Aid certification.
8. A clean background check and drug screen.
