We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bartender with a love for mixology, crafting exquisite drinks with locally sourced ingredients. Division: Constellation - Elior North America

Location: The New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY

Reports to: Food & Beverage Operations // Assistant General Manager // General Manager // Regional Director of Operations

Compensation is $16 an hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages with the highest level of craft and professionalism, including batch cocktails for special events.

• Make plant inspired garnishes, syrups and infusions in preparation for daily bar service.

• Provide top-tier service to guests at the bar and the dining area, ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Collaborate with our culinary team on new menu development, bringing innovative ideas for seasonal and signature drinks.

• Handle product requisitions and perform accurate inventory control to ensure a stocked and operational bar.

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, ensuring adherence to all laws regarding alcoholic beverage service.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• A valid state bartending license, with prior bartending experience.

• Strong knowledge of cocktail mixology, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
