Summary
To mix and serve drinks to guests directly or through wait staff while providing the WOW experience for guestsPrincipal Activities & Responsibilities
- Collect money for drinks served
- Check identification of customers to verify age
- Clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment
- Take beverage orders from guests
- Serve wine, mixed drinks, bottled beer and draught beer
- Clean bars, work areas and tables
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serve food items to guests
- Order liquor and supplies
- Slice fruit for garnishes
- Restock beer, wine and supplies
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- Limit problems related to guests excessive drinking
- Balance cash receipts
Job Requirements
- Must be the minimum age of 21
- Ability to memorize and learn drink and food recipes
- Ability to work under stressful situations
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Must be able to mix drinks accurately and quickly
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and/or small group situations to guests and other Team Members of the organization
- Ability to work with Team Members without judgement or criticism
- Experience in a bar setting is required
Level of Authority & Restrictions
- No supervisory authority
Physical & Mental Demands
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds
- Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of times
Working Conditions & Environment
- Must be able to handle high volume
- Must be able to maintain a high level of sanitation/cleanliness in area
- Is required to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed
Mandatory Requirements
- Must obtain MAST and food workers permit
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to read recipe book and follow instructions
