About the Job
Temporary banquet prep cook position. Hours can vary from on-call to full-time depending on client needs and employee's choice. Most shifts are days. Work could be at one location or multiple locations. Overtime is unlikely, but will be paid at time and half for all hours worked over 40 hours in a Monday through Sunday work week Duties to include both hot and cold preparation of food following established recipes and guidelines; batch cooking; grill cooking; preparing food for client's employee breakrooms; line serving; plate-up; working carving stations; maintaining a neat and orderly work station . Duties could include some dishwashing or other kitchen cleaning duties. All employees must be able to communicate respectfully, take direction from appointed supervisors, adhere to client break and meal period policies, and follow all All Team and client policies regarding safe, courteous, professional, respectful, and non-discriminatory workplaces Experience in a professional kitchen required. Catering, banquet, or institutional batch cooking experience preferred. Knife skills, recipe creation ability, and food safety knowledge expected. Current Oregon Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certification required Weekly pay. Must be authorized to work in the United States of America. Criminal background and drug screening required
