Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive legal counsel to clients facing bankruptcy, offering strategic advice and guidance on a range of bankruptcy-related issues.
2. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediation sessions, and negotiations with creditors.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as petitions, schedules, and motions.
4. Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal issues and case law to support legal proceedings and policy decisions.
5. Advising clients on the implications of bankruptcy, including potential effects on credit, property, and future financial stability.
6. Managing client relationships, ensuring that clients are informed and updated on case progress, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
7. Collaborating with our legal team to develop effective strategies for client representation and case management.
8. Staying updated with changes in bankruptcy and foreclosure laws and regulations and participating in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Attorney.
3. Active member of the state bar in good standing.
4. Proven track record of representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities.
9. Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
