The Morgan Autism Center School Program serves students ages 5 – 22 years old with autism and other developmental disabilities in a teaching environment with a 1:1 staff-to-student ratio. Founded in 1985, our Adult Program serves 50 clients participating in a wide range of engaging and enriching activities throughout the day. We believe in creating ample opportunities for continued learning to support our adults under the Morgan Autism Center model.
We are excited to have just completed our new Vision 2030 plan. Our Vision 2030 focuses on significantly expanding our school and adult programs, building a better bridge between our two programs, and deepening our community-based programming.

Position Overview
Morgan Autism Center is looking for a like-minded experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help us continue to serve the students in our growing NPS with excellence while also helping to build out our additional adult programming to increase the number of adults we can serve in our adult program. This position would be a member of our behavior team and would collaborate closely with school program directors, adult program directors, the executive director, as well as teachers and hourly staff.

This position reports to a Program Director
Key Responsibilities
● Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes and functions of students' challenging behaviors.
● Creates and implements BIPs that align with Morgan Autism Center’s standards guidelines, addressing the individual needs of each student.
● Continuously assess progress through data collection and analysis. Modify plans as necessary based on the student/client’s evolving needs, making data-driven decisions to maximize outcomes.
● Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators, day programs, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to intervention. Share insights, progress, and recommendations to develop integrated treatment plans.
● Work closely with parents and staff to equip them with the necessary skills and strategies to support student/client's behavior and development effectively. Provide guidance on implementing behavior management techniques and evidence-based interventions within the program, home environment and Community.
● Provide training and ongoing supervision to the staff who will be implementing the student/client's interventions. Ensure fidelity of intervention techniques and provide regular feedback and support to the team.
● Supports the development of measurable, objective IEP goals and facilitates progress monitoring in collaboration with program staff.
● Provides crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior and develops strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing.
● Monitors and ensures adherence of all programs and classrooms to Morgan Autism Center’s standards for educational and behavioral service.
● Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities.
Qualifications and Employment Requirements:
● Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field.
● Valid certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
● Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company-approved crisis management procedures (Handle with Care) or other similar programs
● Must pass LiveScan, FBI and DOJ background checks
● Valid CA State Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation

● Ability to train, coach, and develop others
● Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
● Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
● Familiarity with special education practices and principles
● Excellent data collection and analysis skills
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms and speak and hear effectively. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, lift materials, physically support clients as needed, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Salary and Position Classification
● Exempt Position
● Full-Time
● $85,000 - $130,000 based on experience

● Monday to Friday. Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Program Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
