Bardes Plastics is on the lookout for a passionate Custom Sales Representative to be a part of our dynamic team! In this role, you will work together with clients to gain a deep understanding of their specific needs, allowing you to provide customized solutions that truly meet their requirements.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:
Meeting directly with customers to assess their packaging needs and support the development of new packaging projects.
Maintaining and servicing existing accounts.
Creating and delivering formal presentations to customers regarding proposed products.
Preparing price quotes, outlining terms of sale, delivery timelines, and assisting with custom order preparations pending company approval.
Investigating and expediting product claims and complaints in line with company policies for safe and quality food packaging, while recommending corrective actions.
Keeping the company updated on competitive products, promotional activities, sales strategies, pricing, and market policies.
Preparing and submitting regular reports detailing activities, sales figures, expenses, etc.
Developing sales forecasts and budgets as required by management.
As our Custom Sales Representative, you will coordinate and support the development of new custom products by effectively communicating customer needs and expectations to our engineering, production, and shipping teams. You will also ensure client satisfaction and quickly address any issues that may arise.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing sales or related fields.
Business degree is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to operate office equipment such as voicemail systems, copiers, faxes, and calculators.
Experience in B2B sales and direct sales from manufacturers is beneficial.
Knowledge of plastics, packaging, design processes, and product design cycles is an advantage.
Occasional travel to customer sites in southeast Wisconsin is required.
