NTT Data is currently seeking an Azure Developer to join our team working 100% remote, United States. (Moving from Azure Synapse Analytics to Databricks) Strong PYTHON/SQL/Databricks experience is required.

The Azure Developer generates solutions-based management and automation of cloud provisioning tasks, customer support and administration of Managed Cloud Environments (MCEs), workflow and tools development, cloud architecture, and service administration.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $51.00 - $59.00/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
Summary:
The Azure Developer generates solutions-based management and automation of cloud provisioning tasks, customer support and administration of Managed Cloud Environments (MCEs), workflow and tools development, cloud architecture, and service administration.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Virtual Network in Azure
- Establish our core services in the VNET and enable Azure to serve as a part of network
- Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations
- Utilize native Azure services to mee,t the firms technology and resiliency requirements
- Drive Identity, access, and configuration management
- Monitor strategy for Azure Lead design process for network connectivity to Azure Extend MLP standard systems management processes into the cloud including change, incident, and problem management
- Establish and implement monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management
- Establish internal pricing and instance selection model for Azure virtual machines
- Integrate Azure management tooling with MLP including automation of spin-up / spin-down and billing approvals
- Design and implement data protection options, including HA and BCP protection in Azure
- 5+ years of “Expert level” experience programming in both SQL and Python
- 5+ years of Azure data ecosystem experience (Databricks & Azure Synapse Analytics)
- 3+ years of experience developing big data engineering systems powered by APIs and creating medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold) on structured and nonstructured data.
- 2 + years of experience automating workloads using one of the following tools (Databricks workflows, Prefect, CI/CD)
- 2+ years of experience working within source and version control systems as (Github or Azure DevOps)
- 2+ years of experience developing automated security systems around data (Schema security, table level security, row level security, dynamic data masking)
- 2+ years of experience developing automated response systems for production grade data systems (Alerting, Monitoring, Logging, and Automated backups)
2+ years of experience developing and working with credential management systems (Azure key vault, HashiCorp, etc.) - 2+ years of proficiency using Power BI (Star Schema, Dax, Performance Analyzer, BPA Tabular)
- Microsoft Certification (DP-203) or (preferred) Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional)
- Proven ability to drive big data engineering projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven background in working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
- Ability to analyze data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
- Experience with multiple cloud technologies is a major plus (ServiceNow, Splunk, Dynatrace, Axonius, Azure Log Analytics)
