JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I

PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

• Shift: 1st

Summary: 

• Under moderate supervision, assist with the removal/installation of avionics components, wire harness fabrication, installations, terminations, and functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.

• Assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, and fixtures based on blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Complete tasks within allotted time frames.

• Maintain required logs and records.

• Follow company FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety regulations.

• Maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

• Must be able to use a multimeter.

• Entry-level position.

• Preferred: 6 months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience.

• Preferred: Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of youth apprenticeship program.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Computer skills and general software knowledge.
