About the Job
The position will a moderate amount of oversight and supervision, perform laboratory testing services consistent with clients needs by either performing applicable materials testing and preparation of reports.
Essential Functions

- Performing laboratory testing of aggregate products and soils.
- Perform other laboratory tests and calibrations as directed.
- Ability read and understand test methods and specifications.
- Reporting test results
- Maintain AETs productivity standards.
- Must provide quality of service and work product that meets or exceeds AETs expectations.
- Must have skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with coworkers.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role will not have any direct reports or provide work direction.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative/innovative solutions to a wide range of problems.
- Ability to use personal computer software, especially Microsoft Office
- Ability to interact successfully with a wide variety of people, work effectively within project teams, resolve issues and problems in a constructive manner, and work independently.
- Effective communication skills
Work Environment
This position also may require field work in outdoor conditions on construction sites with uneven ground and adverse weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The employee will occasionally push or pull equipment weighing up to 2100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Pay Transparency
Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $18.46 and $23.08 per hour based on skill set and experience.
