Automotive Technician - Ricardo Caballero Auto

Job Summary:

The automotive technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles, ensuring their correct operation and safety. This position requires technical skills to handle a variety of vehicle mechanical and electrical issues, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles using specialized tools and equipment.
• Perform repairs and replacements of parts, including engines, brakes, transmissions, exhaust systems, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignment, and systems checks.
• Test vehicles to ensure that repairs have been performed correctly and problems have been resolved.
• Document diagnoses, repairs and services performed.
• Stay up to date on new technologies and repair methods in the automotive industry.
• Maintain the workshop and work equipment in optimal operating and safety conditions.

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of automotive mechanics and electrical systems.
• Previous experience in vehicle diagnosis and repair.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and co-workers.
• Technical training in automotive mechanics or Automotive Technician License
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
