Automotive Paint Customer Service Representative - Industrial Finishes

Industrial Finishes is hiring an Automotive Paint Counter Sales & Warehouse Associate at our Tualatin, OR store!

About the Position

Are you ready to deepen your understanding of the autobody industry? With us, you'll provide outstanding customer service, assisting clients in-person, over the phone, and via email. Your responsibilities will include inside sales tasks and helping customers grasp the features and benefits of our products. As you develop your expertise and technical knowledge, you'll receive strong support from our team, sales staff, and vendor representatives, ensuring you have guidance every step of the way.

Job Duties:

• Perform counter sales and warehouse tasks, including maintaining showroom stock and inventory rotation.
• Process sales orders via phone, email, and in-person; mix/tint paint as needed; write and handle customer invoices.
• Provide product expertise and technical assistance, including MSDS sheets, and address customer inquiries about features, pricing, and availability.
• Manage inside sales tasks such as billing, pricing quotes, and resolving customer complaints; escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Receive freight, stock shelves, and manage shipping duties; ensure warehouse organization and conduct inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, perform vehicle maintenance, and operate a forklift for stock movement while following safety protocols for heavy lifting and hazardous spill clean-up.
• Complete dead stock reports and promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

• Perform all assigned duties safely and efficiently; maintain communication through emails and correspondence.
• Complete required training and assist in other departments and locations as needed.
