Automation Engineer at The Fountain Group

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Automation Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Lake County, IL. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Range: $33-38/hr
Contract: 9 months with possible extension or conversion
100% onsite

Job Description:

• Develop and implement automation projects to support automation-based workflows, along with providing insight for new system design or improvement across functional areas within the team. This includes wet lab testing for feasibility, verification and validation of lab automation, workflows and software.
• Collaborate with end users to address needed improvements to current modules, design requirements for new test systems, validation, and implementation of the changes.
• Independently support implemented automation solutions through technical or programming troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Perform user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience writing scripts for lab workflows on liquid handlers
