Auto Body Technician, Paint Department - Revology Cars

Revology Cars is hiring an Auto Body Technician in the Paint Department at the Orlando, Florida facility where we restore 1965-1968 Ford® Mustang® and Shelby® GT Mustang automobiles.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• An Auto Body Technician in the Paint department at Revology Cars will make between $22.00 to $36.00 dollars an hour depending on his or her skills and experience.
• This is not a flat rate job. The pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours.
• The work week is 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Optional Friday overtime work may be available.

• 80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (80.0 hours per year) after only 90 days.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Auto Body Technicians working in the Paint department at Revology Cars prepare surfaces and apply finishes to new 1960s Mustang unibodies.
• The paint department consists of 13 different workstations, each with different responsibilities.
• Auto body technicians working in the Paint department perform a variety of activities including assembly, blocking, sanding, masking, application of primer, sealer, base coat, and clear coat, wet sanding, and buffing.
• We hire both experienced and entry level technicians.The level of skill and experience required depends on the specific job.
• The variety of jobs available means there is a path to career growth as a technician becomes more skilled.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have a keen eye for detail, great dexterity, inquisitive, and take pride in his/her work.
• Able to work efficiently and consistently with a quality mindset.
• Preferred candidates will have over five years' experience in automotive body, restoration, mechanical, and/or electrical work.
• All positions require the ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same high standard of quality, every time.
• All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad.
