Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, answering their questions, and providing strategic advice.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards to assess financial statements, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure all audit work is completed in accordance with firm policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Prepare and review audit reports, including financial statements and management letters, and present findings to clients and senior management.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations, and contribute to the development of the firm's audit methodologies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance services. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
