Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, while managing team performance and engagement progress.
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports to assess accuracy, compliance, and overall financial health, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients, addressing questions, providing updates, and delivering insights on audit findings and financial controls.
- Ensure that audits comply with regulatory standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and conduct risk assessments to identify control weaknesses or potential areas for improvement.
- Train junior staff members on audit processes, best practices, and regulatory standards, offering guidance and performance feedback to help develop their skills.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong background in audit and assurance services.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and work effectively with clients.
